A N - O V E R V I E W

Set in a stunning Pennine landscape (but only half an hour's journey time by train from both Leeds or Manchester), Lock-View is a perfect base, at any time of year, for exploring the local area and other parts of Northern England...

Lock-View apartment is part of a newly restored and totally re-invented stone terrace house overlooking the canal.

Located on the lower ground floor, it provides comfortable accommodation for two, maximum three, people. The bedroom and sitting room area has an en-suite wetroom and wc., as well as basic cooking facilities and a small fridge. An open conservatory, which can be used as a dining area or simply to enjoy the views, overlooks the garden and hills beyond.

Marsden itself, though only a village, has all the basic ingredients of life, including: a Co-op, a Boots pharmacy, a post-office, a pub (that brews it's own beer), a chippy, cafes, a library, a butcher, a newsagent and a greengrocer.

So, with leafy valley walks, and acres of unspoilt moorland, Lock-View can offer you the best of both worlds, only half an hour from the diversions of the city should a different 'escape' appeal...

The stream by the church in the village... The Merchant's Hall in York... Whitelock's interior in Leeds...
